WayMark Weight Measurement

Until now, weight management has largely been a guessing game as mailers were often forced to estimate the weight of a mail item.
Overestimate, results in paying too much in postage to the Postal Service. Understimates, results in paying penalties. Either way , it's a no-win situation.
By adding the high-speed scale module WayMark to the high-speed sorting system Criterion you eliminate not only costly estimation errors, but improve the productivity of your operations: the WayMark module veryfies the counts and ensures that the correct amount of postage is valid for that mail piece. The scale is mounted inline, which leads to much higher cycle rate speeds.

The module integrates seamlessly with existing or new Criterion sorter machines. The cycle rate is up to 36,000 mail pieces per hour, with little weight variation (accuracy can be up to 1 g).
The optional permit printing option sprays a pre-configured indicia, while the POSTNET ink jet sprays the actual weight for each mail piece.
The module integrates not only seamlessly with the Criterion hardware but also with the IT structure of the system.
